The LAGOS STATE "IBILE YOUTH ACADEMY 4.0" IS AN AMBASSADORIAL INCUBATION FOR GREATNESS

The Lagos State Youth Leadership Initiative was established in Year 2017 to address these issues. It is designed as a training platform to inculcate in the youth the virtues of Citizenship, Leadership and Volunteerism; designed to ignite young people’s personal development and transformation required for bright future and community development. The underlying philosophy behind the creation of this programme for the youths was based on a firm belief that dividends from such investment can never be quantified. This is because the young people represent the potentials that must be groomed and harnessed for the overall development of our dear State, Lagos and the Country, Nigeria at large.
The IBILE YOUTH ACADEMY offers various programmes that build the Health and Physical, Personal and Social, Cognitive and Creative, Vocational and Citizenship/Civic Competencies of the participants. The Academy emphasizes learning strategies based upon fun, play, action group and individual challenges teaching life skills rather than academic lessons.
The leadership training programme will be in three phases – 3 days Virtual training, a day Physical training and 6 days residential camp from which the State and Divisional Youth ambassadors will emerge. The initiative had been held consistently over the past three years and had produced State Youth Ambassadors and Divisional Ambassadors who had implemented various pet project/ programmes to address peculiar issues in their community.
We have just concluded the three days virtual training, the first phase of the leadership programme. Over 500 young people participated from across the five division of the state. Singer Ciara welcomes baby boy with her rapper fiancé Future

Singer Ciara has given birth to a baby boy. The Goodies hitmaker and her fiancé Future welcomed a son into the world 'very early' on Monday morning in Los Angeles, the New York Post newspaper's  Page Six  column reports. The baby is Ciara's first child, and Future's fourth. She explained: 'I went with what felt right in my soul and my gut. I didn't second guess it.' Luckily, the Body Party star also admitted her pregnancy has been 'very easy.'
