WIZKID, J.J OKOCHA, SKALES, TEKNO, SKUKI AND MORE ATTEND AQUILA RECORDS’ ‘SAVE THE DATE’ LAUNCH EVENT



Hosted by the legendary DJ Jimmy Jatt, Friday, June 12 saw the official unveiling of Shina Peller’s Aquila Records and its official recording artists Tilla, Base One and Que Peller, to the African music landscape, at the long awaited ‘Save The Date’ launch press conference and concert event.

With support from Jack Daniels NG, Hip TV, Beat FM, Pulse NG, 360 Nobs and Nigezie, plus media attendance from Ebony Life TV, The Net NG, City FM, The Guardian and Trace Urban among others, ‘Save The Date’ saw the premiere of Tilla’s upcoming ‘Bad Man’ music video and the music video for Base One’s ‘Werey Re O’, while Que Peller unveiled his debut single ‘Juru’, to critically acclaim.
 
In attendance at the seminal event for the Nigerian music industry, were some of the biggest stars including Wizkid, Skales,Tekno, Skuki, LAX, J.J Okocha and Moe Musa, among others, to support Peller and Aquila Records. It's one of the biggest social events on the A-list calendar, so the pressure is on for the A-list to shine at the Golden Globes.   And while Margot Robbie, Zooey Deschanel and Anna Gunn lit up the red carpet, leading the best-dressed pack in off-white, not everyone got it quite right. 25 year old Brazilian model Dai Macedo from the central state of Goia beat 26 other contestants to win the 2013 Miss Bum Bum contest which is quite popular in Brazil. Dai impressed judges with her 42in derrière and went home with 5,000 reais ($2,100). She will also make a lot of money in advertising contracts. You would expect the butt that won her the contest to be 100% natural but it's not. "It isn't 100% natural. I had a butt lift.
