DB record C.E.O D’Banj has been commended by the president of World Bank, Korean-American Physician and Anthropologist Jim Yong Kim for his devotion to the African Union’s year of Women’s empowerment, 

Where he is encouraging global artists to raise awareness about poverty and other related issues. 
In his words read below what he wrote on facebook about D’Banj: “D’Banj is one of Nigeria’s most popular musical artists, and someone who has used his star power to bring attention to serious development issues, such as the need for more investment in Africa’s agriculture.



 I had the pleasure of meeting D’Banj last month and seeing him perform. I’m thrilled he is the first artist to take part in our new #‎Music4Dev series encouraging global artists to raise awareness about poverty and related issues.

It's one of the biggest social events on the A-list calendar, so the pressure is on for the A-list to shine at the Golden Globes.   And while Margot Robbie, Zooey Deschanel and Anna Gunn lit up the red carpet, leading the best-dressed pack in off-white, not everyone got it quite right.
