DJ EDU, MOE MUSA AND JULS JOIN VERBAL VIXEN FOR SOCIAL MEDIA LONDON PANEL ON THE RISE OF AFROPOP
Verbal Vixen in conjunction with Social Media Week London presents 'The Rise of Afropop: The Genre that Birthed Drake’s 1 Billion Streams'.
For the second year running, former MTV columnist, Verbal Vixen will be hosting a music panel as part of the prestigious Social Media Week London conference. It will take place on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Relentless No. 5, London (buy tickets HERE). The interactive session will be looking at music’s next big thing – afropop, and is designed to highlight the digital generation of artists, producers and video directors that are reshaping Africa’s image.
The panel of industry insiders include music journalist and strategist, Verbal Vixen, presenter of BBC 1Xtra’s ‘Destination Africa’ show, DJ Edu, music producer Juls, the mastermind behind Mr Eazi’s popular sound, and British-Nigerian video director, Moe Musa, one of the continent’s most in-demand names, whose production credits include Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage and Tekno.
Expect a Q&A session to follow and DJ JamJam will be spinning the tunes on the night.
