MUSIC VIDEO - EMERGING AFRO-POP STAR SONA UNVEILS NEW SINGLE “NO WAHALA”

Fast-rising British Nigerian Afro-Pop/Afrobeats artist SONA returns in 2014 with an excellent new single titled “No Wahala” along with a brand new accompanying music video for your listening and viewing pleasure.

Co-produced by Sona himself and O.Y Beatz who has previously produced for the likes of DRB Las Gidi2Kriss and Kida Kudz, “No Wahala” is a sultry smooth Afro-Pop love song with pure R&B sensibilities. The new single sees Sona highlighting his unique artistry, vocal strength and songwriting skills as he waxes lyrical about the ‘pursuit of happiness’ with the lady of his dreams.

With the release of “No Wahala”, Sona is set to continue his successful streak of winning singles, and leave an indelible mark on the Afrobeats music scene this year. Starting last week with the teaser release of “Ijo Sona” which has clocked over 10,000 plays on Soundcloud purely from word of mouth and taking things to the next level with “No Wahala”, the Sona movement for 2014 is a tour-de-force in the making.

Drawing inspiration from icons such as Sir Shina PetersKWAM1 and Wande Coal, Sona first burst onto the scene last year with the Sheyman-produced summer jam “Summertime” and the “Omo Ghana” freestyle featuring Tillaman. And 2014 is going to be a massive year for the UK-based rising star.

2014 will bring the release of his highly anticipated debut EP, with “No Wahala”, “Ijo Sona” and the soon-to-be-released “Eyy Mama” serving as the EP’s lead singles. Enjoy the Alexx Adjei-directed music video for “No Wahala” below.
