He's the kidnapper and ritualist masquerading as a  pastor and General Overseer of Holy Family Ministry a.k.a House of Mercy.  Ernest Nwankwo  went on the run on  Wednesday 25th  June  2014 from his Ogolonto den in Ikorodu, Lagos after 8 kidnapped victims were rescued from him and his gang. Mercy James, a woman based in Ajegunle gave birth to a girl on Saturday 7th June 2014, according to Mercy, she “was pregnant for 14 years.” The girl was aptly named Miracle. 14 years ago, Mercy believed she was pregnant as she started having pregnancy signs. Four months later, she went to the hospital for a test, but she was told she had fibroids and was not pregnant She tells Vanguard Newspapers that,  “Subsequently, I began to experience bleeding, at least once a day. Sometimes, my tummy would protrude in the semblance of pregnancy. I went to different hospitals, and I kept on receiving the same result that nothing was wrong with me. But deep down inside , I knew that all was not well with me.”.

Vanguard L AGOS — A ritualists’ den was, yesterday, uncovered at Ogolonto area of Ikorodu Lagos, with at least eight victims, said to have been kidnapped from different parts of the country, rescued. One of the victims, a 52-year‑old man, who identified himself simply as Onwurah, alleged that his wife had a hand in his kidnap, saying he had spent two years in the enclave. The den was uncovered following a foiled attempt by a mother of four to take one of her victims, a seven year‑old boy, to the den. Vanguard  gathered that the woman identified as Mrs Rosemary Chukwu, who resides at 33, Omologede Street, behind C&S Primary School, allegedly abducted the seven-year‑old primary school pupil, Emmanuel Emeka, on his way to fetch water from a public well at about 6.30 a.m.

The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, has confirmed that 21 people died this afternoon when a bomb went off at the very busy Emab Plaza in Wuse 2, Abuja. He also confirm ed that 17 people were seriously injured and have been taken to Maitama District Hospital,  Gwarimpa hospital, Wuse hospital, Garki hospital and National hospital.  Mr Mba said one suspect has been arrested and investigations have already started. The bomb is said to have gone off in a car as it passed through the gate of the mall around 4 this afternoon. The fire that followed the explosion is said to have engulfed most of the cars parked around the mall.

In case you haven't heard, R&B legend R Kelly has a transgender daughter with ex-wife and star of Hollywood exes, Andrea Kelly. 14 year old Jaya Kelly (pictured right) now goes by the name Jay after she revealed she/he has identified as male since he was 7 years old. She's dumped her female clothes and strictly wears clothes and even cut her hair. Jay admitted that her father recently found out about her transition to a boy but her mum and sister have known for a while and are supportive. Well, R.Kelly may know that his daughter now calls herself a boy but he's definitely having difficulty coming to terms with it. When asked about it during an interview at the WCGI Summer Jam this week, R.Kelly shut the reporter up when he referred to Jaya as his son.

According to a report by  Guardian , not less than 486 suspected Boko Haram members including eight women were arrested by the military personnel of the 144 battalion of the Nigerian Army with base at Asa in Ukwa West council of Abia State. Abia State Information Commissioner, Chief Eze Chikamnayo, who took some reporters to the military camp yesterday to see the suspects said they were arrested around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday along Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway at Arongwa area called Imo Gate, which is a boundary between Abia and Rivers states.

Following his release from jail earlier in the week, Chris Brown celebrated his freedom with his friends and family at a welcome home party on Thursday. His girlfriend Karrueche Tran planned the surprise bash, which was held at a private home in Beverly Hills. She blindfolded the “Loyal” singer and brought him inside where his famous pals including Tyga, Big Sean, T-Pain, and Amber Rose awaited his arrival. A banner read “Welcome Home CB!” and he was presented with a birthday cake (He spent his 25th birthday behind bars). Karrueche was clearly happy to have her man back. She posted a photo of them kissing, writing, “Welcome home.” Chris has reportedly vowed to stay off drugs and remove all negative influences from his life so that he never has to see jail again.

So so so sad! Former Director General of the the NAFDAC  and ex minister of Information, Professor Dora Akunyili, died this morning in an India Hospital. She died after battling with an undisclosed but deadly ailment that made her loose weight in the last few months.
