Just weeks ago, he watched helplessly as his home team Brazil dropped spectacularly out of the World Cup.
But as Neymar continues to battle the back injury that forced him to sit out Brazil's last two games at the prestigious tournament, he appears to have plenty to smile about again.
The 22-year-old athlete was seen sunning himself aboard a boat with his stunning girlfriend Bruna Marquezine by his side on Sunday.

Neymar was ruled out of Brazil's final two matches at the World Cup after injuring his back in the quarter-final against Colombia.
After he was benched, his side went on to be humiliated 7-1 against eventual champions Germany, before limping to a 3-0 defeat in the third-place play-off against Holland.
He will link up with new striker Luis Suarez at Barcelona, with the Spanish media reporting that he'll form a partnership with the Uruguayan, with talisman Lionel Messi playing in the No 10 role.

25 year old Brazilian model Dai Macedo from the central state of Goia beat 26 other contestants to win the 2013 Miss Bum Bum contest which is quite popular in Brazil. Dai impressed judges with her 42in derrière and went home with 5,000 reais ($2,100). She will also make a lot of money in advertising contracts. You would expect the butt that won her the contest to be 100% natural but it's not. "It isn't 100% natural. I had a butt lift.
