We have complied a list, with the exact dates as to when each Nigerian celebrity took the time out of their day to send a simple tweet, retweet, or post a picture concerning the missing girls. Kidnappings happen quite frequently in Nigeria, and our celebrities do not do enough to raise awareness about them. But now that Americans, as well as the rest of the world are speaking up, our celebrities have now found the time to do something about it. We thank you and appreciate the fact that you are now coming around to help, but this does not change the fact that you SAT IN SILENCE until it became “popular” to speak up. WE SEE YOU! We know that you did NOT speak up early. We know that you did not press the issue until popular American celebrities took it upon themselves to ask questions, and press the issue. LEARN TO LOVE YOUR COUNTRY! Stand up for your country. You collect money from your fans for shows, movies, cd’s, but you can’t even send a simple tweet or retweet until foreigners turn it into a fad? You have been sighted, and the dates that you finally took the time to speak up, have been posted. Let the Nigerian public know who truly cares and who doesn’t! For those who took the time to raise awareness right away, we celebrate you. Continue to be a good example and role model to the Nigerian youth! PAY ATTENTION — YOU WILL NOTICE THE MAJORITY OF NIGERIAN CELEBRITIES DO NOT BEGIN TO RAISE ALARM ABOUT THE MISSING GIRLS ON SOCIAL MEDIA UNTIL MAY 30TH, AND APRIL 1ST… THAT IS WHEN RUSSEL SIMMONS, KERI HILSON, AND OTHER AMERICAN CELEBRITIES FIRST STARTED TWEETING. NOW ASK YOURSELVES, WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE THAT SOME PEOPLE WILL NOT FIGHT FOR THEIR OWN COUNTRY UNTIL THEY SEE THAT FOREIGNERS ARE DOING IT? 
Seun Kuti: Started speaking up (immediately) when the incident was brought to light, and has been tirelessly been vocal and active in this whole process since. This obviously shouldn’t come as a surprise.  He has always showcased his dedication to this country, and his genuine care for its people.
 Waje: Started speaking up (immediately) Waje sent out tweets and retweets concerning the missing girls and their whereabouts, and asking others to pray for them. She has also been very active in protests. Her and Seun Kuti have been in the forefront.
M.I Abaga: On April 15th (1 day after the girls were abducted) M.I started tweeting to his followers about the abduction of the girls, when he found out for sure that it had been confirmed, and he has actively been publicly tweeting about it since to raise awareness.
 Ali Baba Akporobome: On April 16th (2 days after the girls were abducted) From what we can see, he is the FIRST Nigerian to publicly speak up about the kidnapped girls.  Here is one of the quotes from his twitter timeline, he spoke of how he hopes that they start searching the roads for the girls, especially checking and searching commercial bus drivers. He has also since been tweeting and retweeting actively about the missing girls. You can tell that he TRULY cares.
Femi Kuti: On April 18th (4 days after the girls were abducted) Femi was actively trying to seek information on the missing girls, and spreading the word through social media. This also shouldn’t come as a surprise, he like his brother has always shown love for this country, and is truly passionate about doing what he can to make it better.
2FACE: On April 24th (10 days after the girls were abducted), 2Face began to raise alarm by sending retweets on twitter inquiring about the missing girls. He also released a video on May 1st to speak up on the matter, and has been actively speaking up ever since.
Rugged Man: On April 25th (11 days after the girls were abducted) Rugged Man first started questioning the whereabouts of the missing girls on the 25th of April and has since been very active in the movement. He demanded to know about the names of the girls as well as their faces.
Toolz O: On April 28th (14 days after the girls were abducted) Toolz started to raise awareness about the issue on twitter, and has since been active about raising awareness.
THE REST LISTED BELOW WERE ALL AFTER APRIL 29TH — These were after the first American celebrities started sending out tweets!
Olamide: On April 30th (16 days after the girls were abducted) Olamide posted a photo to his instagram page that highlighted the incident that took place and helped to raise awareness.
Davido: On April 30th (16 days after the girls were abducted) Davido became active on twitter, tweeting and retweeting posts about the missing girls. He also posted photos about the issue to raise awareness.
Yemi Alade: On April 30th (16 days after the girls were abducted) Yemi Alade started tweeting hashtags on twitter, raising awareness about the missing girls.
Banky W: On April 30th (16 days after the girls were abducted) Banky W. started tweeting and retweeting about the missing girls. He also participated in protests after that.
Tonto Dike: On May 1st (17 days after the girls were abducted) Tonto Dike started tweeting/ retweeting and raising awareness about the missing girls, and she has also participated in protests.
Tiwa Savage: On April 30th (16 days after the girls were abducted) Tiwa Savage posted a caring photo message on instagram, she has also protested on May 5th.
Don Jazzy: On April 30th (16 days after the girls were abducted) Don Jazzy took to instagram to raise awareness about the missing girls.
Mercy Johnson: On April 30th (16 days after the girls were abducted) Mercy Johnson began to raise awareness for the missing girls.
Omotola Jolade: On April 30th (16 days after the girls were abducted) Omotola started to retweet and voice out about the abductions on social media.
Genevieve Nnaji: On May 1st (17 days after the girls were abducted) Genevieve Nnaji took to twitter and instagram to write about her concerns for the country and the young girls.
D’Banj: On May 1st (17 days after the girls were abducted) D’Banj started sending tweets and retweets concerning the missing girls.
Chika Ike: On May 1st (17 days after the girls were abducted) Chika Ike took to twitter to start raising awareness about the missing girls.
P. Square: On May 1st (17 days after the girls were abducted) P. Square began to raise awareness for the missing girls on social media.
Wizkid: On April 30th (16 days after the girls were abducted) Wizkid retweeted a tweet from Russel Simmons, who spoke about the missing girls, and he also posted a photo about the missing girls on instagram that day as well.
