It must hurt when we lose - Mourinho wants players to feel his pain

Jose Mourinho wants Chelsea’s players to feel his pain as he seeks to instil the winning mentality that is his trademark.
Anything less than victory has to sting them as badly as it stings him, the Stamford Bridge boss said ahead of Sunday’s trip to Norwich.
Mourinho insisted he was not having a swipe at his predecessors and their teams’ attitude to failure.

He said: ‘Maybe they didn’t accept it, but they learned how to live without pain in a situation where, with another mentality, it would be painful. The day I lose and go home with a smile it’s goodbye, finish.
'These are good, nice people who like to win and work. I don’t think it will take a long time to get the right mentality.’
Mourinho knows he faces a more difficult task after Chelsea’s worst Premier League start in the Roman Abramovich era.

‘Before, I had a team that was in the best moment of their careers, where you just needed a click to make them believe they could do it.
‘It’s better to win seven games 1-0 than win one 7-0 and drop points in others.
‘This is the mentality you have to build. We have to play every game to win. If you do that and lose, you sleep fine.’
